Two standing ovations were given to Buildings and Ground’s Accounting Clerk Dianne Stieber as she received a Recognition of Services Award from the Weld County Board of Commissioners. Stieber is retiring after 32 years of service.
“Her best attribute is her genuineness and truthfulness for caring for people,” Buildings and Grounds Department Director Toby Taylor said. “She’s given that for the past 32 years, and we really appreciate it. We will miss Dianne.”
During her career with Weld County, she spent 28-and- a-half years with Buildings and Grounds and three-and-a-half years with the Department of Public Health and Environment. Commended for an unwavering work ethic, Stieber had an important role in Buildings and Grounds, answering phone calls, responding to emails and reconciling work orders from departments throughout Weld County Government needing assistance.
“I’ll always remember Dianne being very professional and respectful,” Commissioner Steve Moreno said. “Dianne, I wish you all the best. Thank you for your service to our citizens.”
