October is a great time to put your garden to bed. Consider leaving perennial plants standing – this improves their chance of overwinters and provides food and shelter for backyard critters. You can also plant spring blooming bulbs and garlic for next year. If you have questions on these, or any other gardening topics, please give your local Adams County Master Gardeners a call at 303.637.8100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The Extension Office is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
